In preparation for the upcoming launch of live trading by early adopters, data for FXMarketSpace (FXMS) will be included in production CME Clearing SPAN® files, beginning this Friday, February 2, 2007. Currently, these files contain data for two exchanges -- CBOT and CME. Beginning Friday, they will have data for three exchanges, CBOT, CME, and FXMS. Note that this is not the launch of live trading, just the date on which data for FXMS will be included in the SPAN files. Production SPAN files containing FXMS data are available every day in a test directory, atftp.cme.com/pub/span/data/ccl/test. These match the production SPAN files in every respect except for the inclusion of FXMS data. SPAN files with FXMS data produced from the Certification+1 environment used by firms for testing, continue to be available every day atftp.cme.com/pub/span/data/cme/test/fxm, as they have for some months. We recommend firms make final tests to ensure their systems can handle SPAN files with data for all three exchanges.
